Hollywood Beach Maternity Session

Beth and Mauricio had their maternity session at Hollywood Beach. The beach was stunning and empty because it was only 40 degrees out! You would never know from these photos, but us Florida folk were freezing. They were real troopers and we had a blast. I love maternity sessions in general but this one has a special place in my heart. I drove to Miami the day before for Beth’s baby shower where her and Mauricio decided to get surprise married in front of all their guests! Needless to say, I was sobbing happy tears. The next day we headed to Hollywood Beach for photos. We had to include their first baby Nena who had a great time playing at the beach while we snapped photos.

If you haven’t visited Hollywood Beach before, it is a perfect spot for a maternity session. The beach is gorgeous, dog friendly and has the perfect backdrop for photos. We had the whole beach pretty much to ourselves. (This was probably because like I mentioned it was freezing!)

Just last week, Beth & Mauricio welcomed their healthy baby boy Thomas! I can’t wait to head back to Hollywood to photograph them all together as a family.
