March 11, 2022, What a great day to photograph an amazing wedding for two amazing people. Let me tell you, Lone Oak Acres venue, did not disappoint! Firstly, the day started with the girls getting ready at the farmhouse onsite. The weather was amazing (besides the gale force winds). These two opted to not do a first look and Mat’s face as Ally walked down the aisle was priceless!

Lone Oak Acres is a beautiful, rustic barn wedding venue located in Parrish, Florida just outside Tampa. It was the perfect setting for their boho-chic wedding. This venue may be one of my new favorites!

Ally and Mat are such a fun-loving couple and their wedding day reflected their personalities perfectly.

From the moment I arrived, I could tell that their day was going to be special. Like, who doesn’t want to photograph their friends wedding!

Ally and Mat were so easy to photograph and we had just as much fun as we did at their engagement session at Phillipe Park.

Rustic Wedding Details

I have the privilege of photographing lots of weddings and this wedding at Lone Oak Acres blew me away. The property is simply beautiful! It is the perfect location for a rustic Tampa wedding!

Ally chose a beautiful lace gown with a flowing train and a cathedral veil. She looked like a bohemian princess! Mat wore a traditional fitted grey suit with a rustic twist. The groomsmen also wore gray suits with sage green ties and brown dress shoes.

The bridesmaids wore flowy, mismatched dresses in sage green. All of the details came together perfectly to create a rustic-chic vibe for this Tampa wedding.

The Wedding Ceremony and Reception

The bride and groom exchanged vows under gorgeous pine trees where they had a fun lighthearted ceremony. The reception was held in the barn that had been converted into a gorgeous space with a huge dance floor. I was able to photograph so many candid moments!

After the ceremony, the guests enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres while the bride and groom took photos with their dogs, family and, wedding party.

The reception was held in the barn, which had been decorated with string lights, eucalyptus branches, and white table runners. Ally and Mat’s first dance was to “Your Song” by Elton John. It was such a happy and spectacular day!
