Ryann & Billy got married at The Matthews House in Cary, North Carolina. This old historic house served as a private residence back in 1915. Since then it has been converted into an amazing wedding venue. Ryann & Billy had a smaller intimate wedding. These two scientists had the cutest first look, followed by giving each other handwritten notes on adorably corny animal cards.

The little wedding details were to die for! Firstly, they had handmade table centerpieces with pressed flowers. Also, they had custom illustrations on their invitations. You really could see little pops of their personalities all throughout the day.

Wedding Details

I have the privilege of photographing lots of out of state weddings and this wedding at The Matthews House blew me away. The property is simply beautiful! It is the perfect location for an elegant chic, North Carolina wedding!

Ryann chose a beautiful tulle gown with a partially open lace back. Besides her beautiful dress, I think her updo with the small sprig of greenery really made her look. She looked so elegant and boho at the same time! Billy wore a traditional fitted grey suit with a sage green tie. The groomsmen also wore gray suits.

The bridesmaids wore flowy, mismatched dresses in navy blue. All of the details came together perfectly to create an elegant boho vibe for this Cary, NC wedding.
